Assistant Director of Financial Aid

The Assistant Director of Financial Aid is a full-time, salaried, administrative position responsible
for supporting the work of the university in providing access to a Susquehanna education for
capable students with limited financial resources. The successful candidate should possess
excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills, including well-developed writing
and speaking skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, advising students and their families, performing
need analyses, awarding aid, managing federal aid programs and coordinating financial aid for
Susquehanna's Global Opportunities (GO) program.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree plus a minimum of one year of relevant
professional experience. Three years of recent experience in financial aid administration at a
private institution and experience with financial aid database systems are preferred.
