Associate Director of Housing Facilities

The University of Texas at San Antonio seeks a dynamic, team-oriented, high-energy,
seasoned individual to provide leadership and oversight for housing facilities and the
surrounding grounds. The responsibilities of the Associate Director of Housing Facilities
include, but are not limited to the following: administering long range facility planning;
planning, scheduling, and assisting in the coordination of renovation/construction projects
and all maintenance; care for several acres of grounds and landscaping; supervision of staff;
budget oversight and control; safety compliance; and energy conservation programs.
Develop disaster preparedness and emergency response procedures. Coordinate an
emergency call-back system to provide facilities services 24/7, including weekends
and holidays. Work closely and provide excellent customer service to a diverse
population of students, staff, and managers supporting the Housing & Residential
Life program.
