C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University seeks applications for the
position of campus Registrar. Located on a beautiful 307-acre campus
25 miles east of New York City on Long Island's vibrant North Shore,
C.W. Post Campus is a private, residential, doctoral-level institution
enrolling approximately 8,500 full and part-time students in over 200
degree programs. The Campus also has an extensive continuing
education program and enrolls an additional 1,000 degree-seeking
students at three regional campuses.

As the official custodian of student records, the Registrar oversees a 15-
person office charged with planning, executing, and evaluating all activities
related to student records and registration; implementing pertinent
academic policies; maintaining the academic calendar and course schedule;
assuring legal compliance within federal, state, and agency guidelines;
and providing superior customer service. The Registrar reports to
the campus Provost.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (graduate degree preferred);
3+ years of successful experience in a registrar's office (or in an
equivalent administrative role); supervisory experience; excellent
understanding of the application of technology to deliver records and
registration services, including knowledge of information systems and
"best practices"; strong interpersonal, oral and written communication
skills; a demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations; and
willingness to collaborate effectively in a student-centered teaching
community.
