Dean of Students - Birmingham-Southern College, a national liberal arts college
with approximately 1400 undergraduate and 100 graduate students, has an opening
for Dean of Students. Responsibilities include overseeing judicial affairs,
professional staff development, formal assessment, student affairs administration
and parent programming. Also oversees student activities, Greek life, first-year
leadership program and the SGA through the supervision of Coordinator of
Student Development and Coordinator of Student Life.

The Dean reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs and is responsible for
overall operation of Student Affairs in the VP's absence. A master's degree and a
minimum of five years of Student Affairs related experience is required. Excellent
interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills are required. Strong
organizational skills are essential. Anticipated start date is June 1.

Salary: $50,000 to less than $60,000. Qualified candidates should send a letter
