to serve as Assistant Dean, Career Services. The Assistant Dean reports directly to the Dean and
serves as a key member of the law school’s management team with meaningful input on all aspects
of law school operations. The Assistant Dean for Career Services is based in University Park and is
responsible for developing and carrying out a comprehensive program of career advising, development
and counseling for J.D. and LL.M. students and incidentally for law school alumni. Penn State
University has invested more than $150 million over the past few years in distinguished faculty

and five to ten years of relevant experience. Previous law school Career Services experience is preferred.
Excellent administrative, organizational, counseling, interpersonal and oral and written communication
skills are essential. Experience with computer database management systems and Microsoft Office
programs is desired.
