Associate Dean for Student Affairs
Lyndon State College

Lyndon State College, located in Vermont's beautiful Northeast Kingdom, is
seeking an individual to oversee residential life, judicial affairs, health and
counseling services, student activities, public safety, and athletics.LSC enrolls
approximately 1,400 undergraduate students. Our mission is to prepare every
student for personal and professional success through experience-based, high
-quality programs in the liberal arts and professional studies.

The Associate Dean for Student Affairs reports directly to the Dean of
Academic & Student Affairs and has overall responsibility for developing
a quality living/learning environment and for developing student affairs
policies that promote a positive campus environment.

Requirements include a master's degree in student affairs or other appropriate
field, plus 5-7 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of best practices in
student affairs and in linking student affairs and academic affairs programming
highly desirable.

Starting salary is $50,000-$60,000, depending upon qualifications and experience;
an excellent benefits package includes paid vacation, personal, and medical leave;
14 paid holidays; employer contribution to retirement equaling 12% of annual
salary; a comprehensive insurance package, including medical, dental, and life;
and tuition benefit for self and eligible family members.
